                                                                                                                                                                                                Experimental evidence shows that when


                                                                                                                                                                                                recruiters view recorded interviews,

                                                                                                                                                                                                autistic candidates who are just as


                                                                                                                                                                                                qualified as neurotypical peers are rated

                                                                                                                                                                                                markedly less hireable because of atypical


                                                                                                                                                                                                eye contact, body language, and vocal


                                                                                                                                                                                                inflection.
