About the project

The PERFORM Project aims to:

  1. Equip Hospitality Human Resource and Development Departments and Management with education and tools in order to enhance the inclusion, development and retention of autistic staff by increasing their competitiveness, value, efficiency and general well-being in and out of the workspace.
  2. To increase the productivity of autistic Hospitality employees by providing practical monitoring tools, encouraging autistic employees to take an active role in their career path.
  3. To reduce the employment gap between staff with disabilities and staff without disabilities by increasing professional development opportunities and the development of skills for autistic people.

Project Results

R1

A digital HR Platform that will enable hospitality managers/HR experts to monitor and appraise the performance and job satisfaction of autistic staff.

R2

A set of innovative tools, tailored to the nature of the work in the hospitality sector that will be digitalised and integrated into the HR platform.

R3

A VET course and training material for hospitality human resources experts and managers.

Project Coordinator

Roma Tre University was established in 1992 in the city of Rome (Italy). Nowadays, thanks to its quality teaching and research programs, it represents a central point of reference in the academic scenario at both local and national levels. The University has 13 Departments (including Architecture, Economics, Business Economics, Philosophy, Communication and Performing Arts, Law, Engineering, Industrial Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, Foreign Languages, Literature and Cultures, Mathematics and Physics, Science, Education Sciences, Political Science, Humanities), eight specialized Libraries and 10 Centers. The University hosts about 970 teachers and nearly 40,000 students. Since its constitution, Roma Tre has placed particular emphasis on international cooperation, and it is an active participant in the European Union exchange programs. Roma Tre University envisages the central role of research for the advancement of knowledge and the achievement of significant scientific, cultural, social and economic objectives.

Dekaplus Business Services LTD (Cyprus)

Dekaplus Business Services LTD is a vocational education and training organisation, primarily focusing on the development of competences and skills of management and first line staff. DEKAPLUS is a qualified and certified training centre since commencing its operations in 2006, and offers vocational short courses related to business development and sustainability. DEKAPLUS also has a dedicated department managing EU projects. Since 2014, DEKAPLUS has been the contact point of the “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs” Programme in Cyprus, assisting start-ups gain a concrete start. Furthermore, the organisation has extensive experience in participation in Erasmus+ Projects both as partner and coordinator.

KALLIS FILOXENIAKI LTD is a small private company of occupational education in the field of tourism and hospitality. FILOXENIAKI is accredited by the national HR development authority as a VET centre with qualified trainers who are eligible to develop and implement continuous learning programs, HR development programs, leadership, hospitality and performance program, and recognition and reward programs.

Danmar Computers (Poland)

Danmar Computers LLC is a private company operating in the field of Information Technology and providing vocational training in this field. The company is located in south-eastern Poland in the city of Rzeszow. Danmar has extensive experience in developing modern web and mobile applications that are used for educational purposes. Danmar also has long-term experience of carrying out European projects within which company’s R&D staff conducts research and prepares trainings tailored to the needs of various learners. During 20 years, Danmar has successfully implemented over 70 projects within Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Progress, Erasmus+ and recently HORIZON2020. In many of these projects Danmar was responsible for designing and coordinating dissemination strategies. Danmar Computers is the developer and provider of AdminProject (adminproject.eu), the on-line system for management of European projects. All activities of the company are based on wide and well-established cooperation network, both on national and international levels. The national networks include training and counselling institutions, universities, schools, non-governmental organisations as well as private sector companies. International network includes partners of various profiles coming from every European Union’s country. DIAS VET (Greece)

DIAS VET is a Greek educational and counseling organization, based in Karditsa, accredited by the Greek National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance–EOPPEP. DIAS VET was established in 2009 and till this day, has openned two other operational offices in Greece. The organisation has been granted ISO 9001:2015 certification, and as such, is implementing a quality management system in with carefully designed training programmes and quality-tested according to international standards in the field of Vocational Education. DIAS VET’s vision is to become competitive, European wide VET organization and to provide education and training opportunities, counselling, and support to individuals and businesses. The organization employs 11 full-time staff and 50 part-time trainers / experts. DIAS is experienced in developing training solutions focused on digital upskilling and sustainability skills, in promoting quality entrepreneurship and self-employment, in strengthening the green skills of young and existing entrepreneurs, in a market where the need for environmentally friendly engagement and sustainable business practices is emerging.
